Coronation Tree Planting Paris Cemetery May 2023
Doug Hanna and Dave Collins, from PHS, worked with the Department of Parks and Forestry, Brant County, to have trees planted in the Paris Cemetery. The trees are to commemerate the passing of Queen Elizabeth and the Coronation of King Charles. Meghan Hunter and her team helped with the location and digging the holes.

Each tree is designated with a plaque.
The Pin Oak is a native tree to Ontario. It is used widely in landscape plantings for its ease in transplant, relatively fast growth, fall colour, winter interest and pollution tolerance.
